Welcome to Young People’s Clinic at our new location and our new website!

Young People’s Clinic, PC (YPC) started in a little farmhouse 35 years ago under Dr. Miriam Mills at 21st and Harvard in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  In December 2012, we took our small clinic one mile west to 21st and Lewis and moved into newly renovated offices.  This move doubled our space and allowed us to accommodate more patients, which has allowed us to care for our growing families much more efficiently.  We hope you enjoy the new place as much as we do!

Our providers enjoy getting to know our patient families individually, and we strive to provide excellent care with attention to the needs of each child.  Although not all vaccines are mandatory for a child to be accepted as patients at YPC, we always offer education and discussion when it is time to give immunizations.  We choose to work with parents to keep their child up to date on their vaccines, even if a parent chooses a delayed or selective vaccine schedule.  There are specific vaccines at YPC that we believe make a difference in protecting newborns, and the suggested modified Sears schedule for delayed administration helps keep newborns well protected.

The routine vaccine schedule per AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) recommendations is also available, with combination vaccines for all patients to use in order to decrease the number of total injections.

All patients at YPC can be scheduled for osteopathic manipulative therapy (OMT) appointments.  We treat many children to help them with a spectrum of medical issues such as:  difficulty breastfeeding or latching, head shape problems in infants (plagiocephaly), gastroeophageal reflux (GERD), recurrent ear infections, chronic ear fluid, constipation, back pain, abnormal stance (in-toeing, out-toeing, foot pronation), headaches, developmental delay (ASD/PDD), spastic limbs of cerebral palsy, attention difficulties (ADD/ADHD), and more.  Together, our physicans offer more than 40 years of practical experience treating children with OMT.

We accept most insurances, and take new patients ages birth-17 years for general pediatric care.  We also accept referrals from other pediatricians and family physicians for patients to be seen for treatment with OMT, for ADHD evaluation, lactation consult, or other needed procedures.

If you are expecting a new little one, please call us to schedule a free pre-natal consult and see if we are a good fit for your growing family.  Contact us if you have any questions, or if you are interested in Young People’s Clinic for your child’s medical needs.
